I am an integrative counsellor and therapist providing counselling for children and teenagers, adults and parents for all emotional concerns, behaviour and relationship concerns. I use a number of ways of working, since I find this allows you the best experience of finding ways of working that suit you. Many of these ways of working have creative elements. I am a School Counsellor in four schools; and have a background of over thirty six years of working with children as a counsellor and teacher.

In addition, I offer a range of creative techniques for children, teenagers and adults; I am an accredited practitioner in Jungian- Kalffian therapeutic Sandplay; this a very effective, powerful and creative method of sand therapy, for children , teenagers and adults. It is very absorbing and soothing, but a deeply effective way of working on what needs to be balanced on an unconscious level. 

Sandplay integrates all areas of the self; very beneficial for all emotional difficulties but it is especially suitable for anyone who has been adopted or fostered due to its great ability to help with attachment issues. Teenagers or those with high anxiety, often prefer not to talk about what is bothering them and this way of working can be more acceptable than talking more directly. Association of Sandplay Therapists (MAST)

I am an advanced practitioner in "Tapping" or the Emotional Freedom Technique, as well as the more creative version of "Picture tapping" again, for all ages, and I also have some training in The "clean language technique, " which works very effectively as it focuses very closely on your perspectives. I am currently trading in advanced picture tapping

I am trained in the highly effective "Trouble-shooting for Parent's programme" also known as "Webster -Stratton" as used by CAMHS which means that I am able to help and advise parents on changing their children's difficult behaviour in a really positive way which makes life more harmonious for the family. 

I also have special training in adoption, fostering and attachment and I am a "LINK Counsellor" for Barnardo's and I also have training in attachment focused Parenting so I can help all parties affected by adoption and attachment.

As a child counsellor in Kent and Surrey I work with separation anxiety, anxiety, depression and low self esteem, stress, sadness and low mood, difficulties at school, bullying, parental splits, bereavements and many more emotional, social and behavioural difficulties that children face.
