Psychotherapist, Counsellor & Workplace Mediator

As a qualified Psychotherapist, Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Mediator, I work with a range of clients of varying ages, professions, educational, socio-economic backgrounds and cultures.  My particular focus is anxiety, depression, relationship (family, marriage, partner, struggles finding a relationship), workplace relationship, performance, and career issues, menopause, addictive behaviours (food, alcohol, drugs and other vicious cycles), and childhood and adult trauma.

 

I’m integrative and relational in approach and possess in-depth experience, skills and knowledge developed over 20 years to easily adapt to client needs.  I believe strongly that building a good relationship based on trust and empathy is the most important route to healing and bringing internal clarity and positive change.  

I recommend four sessions initial sessions to explore the client’s issues and to allow us both to consider if we can build a positive and effective therapeutic relationship.  I believe it’s important for the client to feel comfortable with the approach and the therapeutic relationship and if my approach does not meet their needs may terminate at any time in accordance with our therapeutic contract regarding notice periods etc.  I work remotely by phone and online evenings and Saturdays.
